Plays and Projects from Years Past
No land’s man (NYU tisch film & tv project)
No Land’s Man is a short film written by Martine Pagliari for Tisch Film & TV. I play a young man named Alexander Hughes Jr. who gets…real beat up to say the least.
dickheads (henry vi.2/richard iii) & Various projects (royal academy of dramatic art)
While at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, we produced three different projects. The first was All in the Mind’s Eye, a version of King Lear that temporally fractured, and focused on the downward spiral of the mind.
The second was Confinement to Resistance, a conversation between Measure for Measure and contemporary works, exploring how women move from a place of oppression to a place of power.
The final was a mashup of Henry VI Part 2 and Richard III, called Dickheads or The Rise and Fall of the Yorks. I played one part of a mob of Richard III’s who slinked around the stage and the story, murdering their way to the top.
You kill me by watching this (ETw second year projects)
At the end of our second year in the Experimental Theatre Wing, we get to create our own ten minute productions, and this was mine.
It was ten minutes of projection that I made in After Effects, going through three montages of media from throughout my life, from coverage of the Iraq War to Halo Machinima. Between each montage was a movement piece where I and a friend placed books in the space between us, and then took them away.
It was weird, it was experimental, I kinda know what it meant, but kinda didn’t and that was fun.

the world won’t listen (ETw second year projects)
We also get to act in some of our colleagues’ second year projects, and I was lucky enough that my friend (and co-host *wink wink* nudge nudge) Adam O’Connel asked me to be in his piece “The World Won’t Listen”.
A short play about two young men discussing AIDs, Freddie Mercury, and whether Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go is about sex, it was beautifully written, charming and a joy to be in.
(side note: I was also in Symphony Blue’s project and it was great but I have no pics so Symphony lemme know where those are so I can gush about it on this page <3)
Midsummer Night’s DReam (Shakespeare in the square nyu)
In the fall of my sophomore year, I played Flute/Thisbe in Shakespeare in the Square’s production of Midsummer Night’s Dream. This reimagined version of Midsummer put two gay couples and their stories in the forefront, as well as all the mechanicals (except for me) being women! Super fun, super groovy, looked super good in that dress.

New York Renaissance Faire 2017
My second full year at the NYRF, the 2017 season. I played a villager named Whetstone, the Village Fool, Minstrel and Philosopher, as well as spending a large part of the season as the Queen’s Personal Fool. I was in a show called "Battleships!" a stage combat show depicting a battle between pirates and the Royal Navy, as well as a show called "Chit Chat", a 30 minute, parody talk show musical.
